In the spring, usually beginning in mid-to-late March, you can begin opening up your sprinkler systems, to start the watering season for your lawns and other vegetation.

What Is Involved?

Opening up the sprinkler system involves a number of steps that are important to ensure your system is working properly and has weathered the harsh winter intact. Harvest uses a commercial-size, 185 CFM, towable air compressor to blowout sprinkler lines and zones.  It includes the following:

• Turning the water on
• Pressurizing the sprinkler system
• Closing all drains
• Making sure all zones are checked for any possible leaks
• Check sprinkler heads for cracks or damage due to the cold winter months
• Ensure that the sprinkler heads are properly aligned and spraying the yard in the most efficient and optimal directions
